BroadSoft Explodes Higher on Strong Report
BroadSoft reported second-quarter profit of $0.33, crushing the $0.21 expected by analysts estimate. Revenue of $40.5 million was also ahead of the $37.4 million consensus number, and guidance was raised. BSFT rallies 22 percent in early trading.
Leap Stumbles on Big Loss
Leap Wireless International had a second-quarter loss of $0.54 a share on revenue of $786.77 million. The Street was looking for a loss of $0.50 and revenue on revenue of $836.27 million. LEAP plunges 16 percent before the bell.
