IRIS spikes higher on Danaher buyout

Danaher agreed to purchase IRIS International for $19.50 a share in cash--a huge premium compared with its closing price of $13.42 on Friday. IRIS, which makes in-vitro diagnostic systems, surges 44 percent before the bell on my tradeMONSTER platform!
Tesla Climbs on Morgan Stanley Upgrade
Tesla Motors received an upgrade from Morgan Stanley, which now rates the electric-car maker "overweight." The price target was also raised to $50 from $45. TSLA rallies 8 percent on the move.
Dim Outlook from LDK Solar
LDK Solar expects shipments to grow, but pricing remains weak. The company now expects full-year revenue of $1.1 billion to $1.5 billion, down from an early forecast of $1.5 billion to $2 billion. LDK is lower by about 2 percent in early trading.
