Earnings Miss, Subscriber Losses A Problem
Perfect World reported second-quarter earnings of $0.57 per American depositary receipt. Analysts had expected $0.58. The Chinese gaming company also said it didn't launch any new titles and continues to lose users. PWRD falls 7 percent.
PVH Beats Estimates, Guidance Strong
PVH earned $1.25 a share, beating, the $1.20 consensus estimate. Revenue missed, but profit guidance was mostly above expectations, and PVH is higher by 6 percent.
Molycorp Brings New Facility On Line
Molycorp announced the start-up of heavy rare earth-concentrate operations at Mountain Pass, California. That's giving a boost to the stock that's down big in the last month. MCP climbs 5 percent before the bell.
