SPX: SEE CHART GET CHAIN

Equities indexes were mixed Tuesday as the S&P 500 fell, while the Nasdaq and small caps advanced.

The SPX closed lower by 1.14 points, or 0.08 percent, at 1409.30. The Nasdaq-100 rose 0.14 points, or 0.01 percent, to 2782.69 after Google climbed more than 1 percent.

The Russell 2000 small cap index outperformed Tuesday, closing higher by 0.48 percent at 814.28.

S&P 500

Resistance is now 1410, followed by 1412.55, 1416 and 1420.
Support is now 1409, followed by 1406.22, 1403.68 and 1400.

Nasdaq-100

Resistance is now 2783.53, followed by 2788, 2790 and 2800.
Support is now 2781 followed by 2778, 2762.22 and 2756.

Russell 2000

Resistance is now 814.55 followed by 815, 818.50 and 820.
Support is now 813, followed by 808.45, 805 and Friday's low of 803.24.
